Garden Planning Step 3
Step 3 in our garden planning is one of the most fun. Basically it involves drooling over seed catalogues and getting excited about the upcoming growing season.
This year we will be growing a lot of the same fruits and vegetable. However, we are playing around with varieties and seed companies this year. We have purchased our 2019 seeds from West coast seeds, T and T seeds and Early's farm and garden market.
Take a look below to see what we hope to be able to offer you this summer. We will get into a more detailed list as the growing season progresses!
Arugula, Wasabi Arugula, Asparagus Beans, kidney beans, green bush beans, yellow bush beans, green pole beans, Barlotti beans, Edamame, Red beets, mixed beet blend, broccoli, broccoli rabe, Copenhagen Cabbage, Taiwan Cabbage, Danish bullhead cabbage, Red Jewel Cabbage, Napa Cabbage, mixed carrots, white/purple/cheddar/green cauliflower, celery, radicchio, cucumbers, eggplant, kale, kohlrabi, leeks, mixed lettuce, Watermelon, mustard greens, spring onions, onions, scallions, Pac Choi, green peas, snap peas, sweet peppers, paprika pepper, jalapeno peppers, Hungarian wax peppers, Serrano peppers, cayenne peppers, french basket radish, radish, daikon, spinach, pumpkin, potatoes, zucchini, Swiss Chard, tomatoes and more tomatoes, basil, cilantro, cumin, dill, Brussels sprouts, sweet basil, artichoke, asparagus, endive, sage, mint, marjoram, tarragon, oregano, grand rapids lettuce, romaine lettuce, Simpson curled lettuce
Now we just have to wait for the seeds we have ordered online to arrive. To help pass the time we will start planting a few of the seeds we picked up locally. Stay tuned for that.
